Meet Coach Ken

Ken Mendola, a seasoned healthcare professional with a background in nursing, discovered his passion for running in 2010. Inspired by a fervent desire to not only excel in his own running journey but to guide others on their path to success, he transitioned into coaching. His coaching journey took a significant leap when he became an integral part of a coaching camp led by the prestigious USA Track & Field and earned his well-deserved certification as a Track & Field Level 1 Coach.

What makes We Ken Run different from other running communities?

Coach Ken takes a personalized approach, creating training plans based on individual fitness assessments.  He is flexible and consider each trainee's goals, lifestyle, and aspirations. Beyond speed and endurance, he focuses on fostering a love of running and making it a positive part of each runner's life. Coach Ken also encourages a strong sense of community among runners, which can be a great motivator.

There are many running coaches out there, but if you're looking for someone who takes a personalized approach, Coach Ken is worth considering.

Can beginners join We Ken Run?

Absolutely! In fact, most of our runners joined us as complete beginners with absolutely no background in running.

Our team is very inclusive and welcoming so you don't have to be afraid. We all start somewhere!

Does We Ken Run cater to specific fitness levels?

Nope - we welcome all fitness levels! Whatever your goal for running may be, we're here to support and cheer you on every step of the way.
